Steve Livingston, III is a Reservoir Engineer with recent experience in operations, optimization, and reserves for the Rocky Mountain, Appalachia, and Gulf-coast on-shore regions while working for WPX Energy as a member of their engineering rotational program.
During his tenure with WPX Energy, one notable accomplishment included identifying portions of gas field acreage that would produce an incremental $1,000,000 in revenue per well as compared to the current average estimated ultimate recovery (EUR) for legacy wells. This was completed by creating a quicker, forward looking, and alternative method to predict EUR. This resulted in a formula that could be used in a way that included and allowed geology, completion, and production a measure towards improved efficiency.
Steve utilizes synergy, optimization skills, operational techniques, and direct hands-on software proficiency to save time and safely increase long-term shareholder value. He is a team player with excellent written and oral communication skills and is eager to learn.
Steve Livingston, III is a graduate of The University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor’s of Science in Petroleum Engineering.
